C.K Magma Technician’s Wheeled Case MA2650 Review

With my old tool bag coming to the end of its life with pockets wearing through, zips breaking, and seam splitting, I thought it was time for a change. Having used C.K Magma bags in the past, it was the obvious place to start: they are user-friendly, hard-wearing, and portable.

As I suspect with many trades, there is never enough room for all the tools required. This is certainly the case with me, and it doesn’t matter what I remove from the bag, it never seems to get any lighter (probably because something else gets put in there)!

This is where the C.K Magma Tool Trolley comes in. For starters, it has wheels, so less carrying is required, thereby saving your back from unnecessary strain. It includes a large main compartment, big enough for my electrical tester to fit on top of all the existing tools on those occasions when I need it, and it also comes complete with 30 tool pockets and holders.

Empty, the trolley weighs a hefty 5.25kg, however the wheels and a “balanced design for effortless movement” helps to negate this. It measures 500 x 300 x 400mm, making its footprint only slightly larger than its counterpart, the Magma MA2639 Max Toolcase (a newer version of the bag I have replaced).
